Autorenporträt
François Bloemhof hardly needs any introduction, whether to younger readers or to adult readers - he is the author of a number of very successful and highly acclaimed novels for both readerships. To date he has published more than fifty titles and has won numerous prizes along the way (De Kat-debuutprys, ATKV-Veertjies, the Sanlam-Prize for youth fiction and the FNB/Kagiso-jeugromanprys. He was also a finalist in the Sanlam/Insig-, M-Net-, CAN- en ATKV-romanpryse). He also writes radio and stage dramas, short stories, articles, reviews, etc. François lives in Durbanville and is a freelance language practitioner.
