Third Part (1971): the heaviness and angst of the old lady continues a few years later. Two of her sons are fighting in a jungle, challenging a fearsome enemy. The tour of duty for each son increases her sorrow arduously. Fourth Part (present time): the smallest of seven children immigrated to New York City. Finding himself alone, he challenges the adversity and breaks barriers of illiteracy. He idolizes the illusion of entering college. He is strongly advised to continue his trade (construction worker). He doesnt have integrity to acknowledge the studies of science and mathematics. He has no training or education. He is determined to make his dream a reality.

Autorenporträt
José Adín Oliveras immigrated to the States of the Union as a youngster. He studied electro-mechanical engineering and was awarded a certificate of honors in the science of mechanics. Graduated with a bachelor of science. Obtained a home inspector license by the State of New York. He worked for the New York City Housing Authority as a supervisor of construction project manager. He retired from city work after serving twenty-seven years of dedicated service. His hobbies are the following: writing poems, painting portraits, reading about ancient sailboats, and adventure literature. His dream: sailing around the seven seas.
