The novel tells a story that is almost a thousand years old. Where the story begins during the reign of Henry I, Henry II and the Plantegne family, and then ripples with events until it reaches the year 2016. The narrator tells about an English king named Laith I who is unknown to him. He was born and died in Dumat al-Jandal in Saudi Arabia. The novel contains some history, action, romance, and also some mathematics and cryptography. In its subject matter and style, it sets a unique precedent in the world of Arabic novels. The cover line is the great calligrapher: Fahd Al-Majhadi on an antique patch, and the cover was photographed by the large photographer: Hussein Daghriri. The novel also contains several drawings with charcoal created by the painter Rawan Al-Shaalan in which they simulate a real tablet of the characters of the novel, some of which are about 700 years old
