JODIE CLARK is Senior Lecturer in English Language at Sheffield Hallam University, UK. Her research is focused on the development of ethnographic, communities-of-practice oriented approaches to critical discourse analysis. Jodie is a member of the Linguistic Politeness Research Group and the Language and Interaction Research Group at Sheffield Hallam University.
