Die 2007 in der Schweiz geborene Autorin, deren Pseudonym zugleich der Name der Protagonistin des Buches, nämlich Lavakralle Samtpfote, ist, beendete die Sekundarstufe und begann bei Bucherscheinung ihre Lehre als Automatikerin. Es ist ihr erstes Buch. In ihrer Freizeit spielt Lavakralle Samtpfote Unihockey und macht gerne Musik.
