Autorenporträt
The Author spent many years as a development consultant in third world countries, including 5 years in Bangladesh. Team leader on a World Bank Fisheries project in Khulna, he later moved to Dhaka. In his work, the Author experienced many floods and storms in the country, working closely with rural communities. Whilst in Khulna he accidently fell into a roadside ditch, lying injured and unconscious before being rescued by a group of rickshaw wallahs who took him to hospital. Therein lies the Author's admiration and gratitude to the rickshaw fraternity and his wish to write a story in their honour.
