Autorenporträt
Timothy Dwyer is Associate Professor and Degree Director of the Master of Media Practice in the Department of Media and Communications at the University of Sydney, Australia. He is a visiting foreign professor at the College of Media and International Culture, Zhejiang University, China. His research focuses on the critical evaluation of media and communications industries, regulation, media ethics and AI, law and policy in an era of post convergent media, algorithmic mediatisation and the mass scale targeted use of personal data. His research also explores how automated news practices are evolving in platformised media ecologies, and analyses the implications of these transformations for media diversity and pluralism policies.
