Autorenporträt

Carol Osborn was born on Easter in New Jersey. Her older sister didn't get an Easter basket that year, so when her mother returned from the hospital with a bundle wrapped in a blanket, she said, "There's my bunny!" You'd think that such a nickname could be outgrown, but that didn't happen. To the world at large, she was Carol, but to family, she was Aunt Bunny and then Grandma Bunny. During her life as a teacher, she wrote stories to teach her students when she couldn't find something in a book to make the point she wanted them to learn. Using her family and friends as characters, she wrote fact-based fictional stories for children and adults, illustrating them herself. She now has three adult children, three adult stepchildren, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren and lives with her husband in North Carolina. When she wrote Grandma Bunny's Stories about Little Girls, her grandsons asked her to write a book about little boys too. That is why these stories were written.
