One day shortly after the battle that had killed her father and his father, Leila had been walking to the stream to fill her water jugs when she saw Jameel gently talking to his horse as he groomed him. His hands gently stroked the horse's mane, and Leila found herself wondering what it would feel like to feel his hands stroking her back. Shocked at her own thoughts, she started to move away quickly when she saw him put his head on the horse's neck and his shoulders started shaking. The horse, sensing his distress, gently stepped closer to Jameel. Embarrassed to see their strong leader so vulnerable, she continued on her way to the stream as quickly and quietly as she could. She lingered at the stream and then took a roundabout way back to her family's tent to avoid running into him. From that day, Leila couldn't stop thinking about him. When she saw her brothers-in-law tease her sisters and cause them to blush and giggle intimately, her thoughts turned to Jameel.

Leila must make a choice, between her future and her present. Will she choose her family or the gorgeous leader standing before her?
