After raising enough children to populate two opposing hockey teams with alternates, Buck spends his time travelling with his wife, Beastie, while occasionally stopping to play with his grandchildren. Traveling back and forth between Georgia and Florida, the two of them avoid the weather while working on toughening up the soles of their feet walking around barefoot and working on their tans.
Buck hopes that the humorous and colorful stories he shares in his memoir will encourage others to put their lives to print.
Buck Moore's Let Me Tell You About the Time... is a memoir of a colorful and fun-filled life. It explores the intersection of family relationships, friends, and memories while hoping not only to entertain but preserve a wild and crazy life "back in the day" for future generations. It will make readers think and laugh while doing so.
Moore's stories include:
- life as a vagabond in Hawaii;
- how he became a father to 20+ children;
- how his wife almost got eaten by an alligator;
- his entrepreneurial capers; and
- the day his dad ate a bowl of dog food thinking it was a casserole.
You'll laugh, cry, and sometimes cringe. You might even see a bit of yourself in Buck's stories and relationships. Simply put, if you love to be amused, Let Me Tell You About the Time....
