Autorenporträt
Kathy-Diane Leveille is a former broadcast journalist with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Her short story collection Roads Unravelling was published to critical acclaim after a selection from its pages Learning to Spin was adapted to radio drama for CBC¿s Summer Drama Festival. The tale Showdown at the Four Corner¿s Corral was revised for the stage and performed by New City Theater in Saint John. She is a member of Sisters in Crime, Crime Writers of Canada, International Thrill Writers and The Writers Union of Canada. Kathy-Diane was bitten by the writing bug when an elementary school teacher asked her to adapt a story to radio drama. She went on to pen numerous stories and a school Christmas play. Later as a journalist for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, she loved meeting people and the challenge of shaping true life dramas for radio. When her father passed away, she decided to return to her true passion: writing fiction. Her award winning narratives have been published in numerous literary anthologies including Grain and The Oklahoma Review. She organizes the annual Answering the Call writing retreat at the Villa Madonna and the annual eight-week Artist's Way circle for writers. Kathy-Diane lives on the east coast with her husband and two sons, enjoying beach combing, gardening, hiking, motorcycling and always finding time to stop for a cup of tea with friends.
