Mawlana Sayyid Abdul A'la Mawdudi (1903-1979), one of the chief architects and leaders of the contemporary Islamic resurgence, was an outstanding Islamic thinker and writer of his time. He devoted his entire life to expounding the meaning and message of Islam, inviting individuals to renew their commitment to their Creator, and to organizing a movement for people to establish Islam in their lives fully. Khurram Murad (1932 - 1996) was the director general of The Islamic Foundation, UK, and a renowned teacher who spent forty years in the spiritual teaching and training of thousands of young Muslim people around the globe.
