Autorenporträt
Waldenbooks bestselling author Christy Lockhart (the pseudonym for Christine Pacheco) is the award-winning author of nine books, seven Silhouette Desires and, with a partner, two Silhouette Intimate Moments. She also had a historical romance produced in audio format. The author lives in the Denver area with her husband, two children, two cats and two dogs. She is the past president of Colorado Romance Writers, former Colorado Romance Writers Writer of the Year, recipient of Romance Writers of America's Emma Merritt Award, RWA's highest award for volunteerism, and currently serves as the chairperson for the romance panels of the 2002 Rocky Mountain Book Festival. It took her nearly ten years to sell her first book and she considers herself the poster child for perseverance. She participates in numerous conferences and workshops, judges in writing contests and participates in a critique group. Christine lives her life by Eleanor Roosevelt's saying: "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
