The debut cookbook from Freddsters, featuring a modern American take on classic Mexican cuisine.

Alfredo Garcia (better known as Freddsters) is most well known for kicking off his Instagram and TikTok cooking tutorials by exclaiming, "Let's Make It!" Since launching his digital platforms in 2021, he's grown his community to include 1.5M TikTok followers and 749K Instagram followers, who are fully dedicated to his unique approach to cooking Mexican food.

Alfredo is a first generation Mexican American. Born in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas (a mere 5 minute drive from the Mexico/US border) and raised in Chicago. His vivacious and loveable personality comes across in his content, where he explores the ways in which his American upbringing and his Mexican heritage blend in the kitchen. Naturally, Alfredo's debut book will also feature Mexican-inspired versions of American classics and modern twists. Think Birria Ramen, Chicken Caesar Quesadillas, and Picadillo Chili Cheese Dogs.

The book will feature foundational components of authentic Mexican cuisine at the start of the book, must-have ingredients, and essential tutorials. No cookbook featuring Mexican cuisine would be complete without teaching you how to make your own tortillas and cook a big pot of frijoles.

Autorenporträt
Alfredo Garcia has been a full-time content creator since 2021. Before that, he was a private chef for multiple MLB players. His love of cooking is inspired by the strong women in his family, especially his mother, grandmother, and aunts. He'd watch them as they'd make chilaquiles (easily his all time favorite meal), tacos, and every kind of salsa you can imagine. His first product, a salsa macha, is available for sale at Freddsters.com. He resides in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
