Autorenporträt
Christine Nagy is an English Teacher who has had a penchant for studying the Civil War era for many years. She has pondered why the United States could not have settled its differences with the southern Confederacy without bloodshed. She has questioned Lincoln's stance that the great experiment had to prevail at the cost of untold loss of life. In this historical novel she details the lives of two sisters entrenched in the everyday life of the four long years of war and hardship that this nation endured.
