Shirley Derosier's love for poetry began as a young girl, when her father recited poems to her. She began writing poetry while in school. Through the years, life experiences inspired her to write, and as a result, she has gathered a wide variety of verse representing shared human emotions. Shirley is a Maine native. Along with her love of writing, she enjoys sewing, knitting, gardening, and dabbling in painting. In these books, you will find that her love of family, friends, and nature have been an immense influence on her writings.
