In this book I am sharing highlights of what I have learned from years of studying the Bible, from my more than twenty-five years of Christian life, from battling and overcoming a pornography addiction, from my service as a Chaplain for the Maryland State Police and from my more than fifteen years of service as a minster of the gospel at three different congregations.

Autorenporträt
Ian J. Drucker was born in 1960. He grew up in Wheaton, Maryland. He is a graduate of Wheaton High School (Class of 1978). He was raised in the Jewish faith. However, after his sister was diagnosed with cancer in 1993, he started to explore the possibility of Jesus as the Messiah. As a result of this exploration, he and his wife (Marti) became Christians (in July 1993).
Ian worked in the field of Electrical Engineering for over 20 years, primarily on the Washington, DC Metro System. Ian holds a B.S. Degree in Electronics Engineering (1983, Capitol College - Laurel, Maryland) and an M.S. in Engineering Administration (1989, George Washington University - Washington, DC). He is still a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland.
Ian began preaching and teaching the gospel part-time (in 2002), at the county detention center in Frederick, Maryland; while still focused on his engineering career. Two years later Ian answered the call of God on his life to preach the gospel full-time. Leaving his engineering career behind, Ian and Marti set out in full-time ministry in the Fall of 2004. Ian then earned a Master of Ministry Degree (2008, Harding University - Searcy, Arkansas).
Ian and Marti were married on July 21, 1990. They have two daughters, and three grandchildren. In January 2017 Ian was diagnosed with high-grade invasive bladder cancer. In December of 2017, Ian entered into hospice care.
