Autorenporträt

Joseph Spickard was born, raised and lived most of his life in different regions of the United States, but also lived several years in Latin America. He considers himself a-generational Christian, as his family lineage on both sides of his parentage hail from a long line of ministers and persons of faith in the United States, and his predecessors in Europe. He is told to be related to the Evangelist Daniel Rowland (1713-1790) of Welsh Methodist fame. His paternal forebears from Germany came to the United States in 1757 and fought in the American War of Revolution, and they served under Generals Nathaniel Greene and George Washington, and was present at the British surrender at Yorktown. He is the father of two children. Mr. Spickard has been an exegete of the Bible for over forty years. This is his third published book.
