The following chapters are pieces of my life from ages twelve to eighteen in a South Africa fraught with racism. It is a snapshot of my life through the years written as a series of short anecdotes. Some are sad, some are funny, some are uplifting and some are naughty but hopefully all will entertain. Writing this has been difficult yet fulfilling. Where the memory has faded, I have invoked poetic license and used my imagination. If I have offended anyone in my writings, I apologize emphatically and can assure you it is not deliberate. I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Warning! This book contains coarse language, which may be offensive to some readers.
