Life on the protection of death is the fourth narration of writer Jamal Naji, which was accomplished in 1993 and revolves around the economy and globalization and its results early, but most of its idea focuses on the philosophy of influence that leads to open conflicts between the fictional characters. The novel is not satisfied with presenting these ideas and events, but rather these events link what is happening in our world and extends to our societies, as it dives into the psychological reasons that led to the deviation of these fictional characters, and to the corruption of the economic and financial environment and the greed that affects the collective mind leads to perdition. Some critics have considered this novel one of the vow of globalization that quickly crawls to Arab societies.
