Autorenporträt
C.F. Seidel wurde 1951 in Freiberg geboren. Sein Hobby war schon immer das Lesen. Er mutierte zur Leseratte. Außerdem interessierte er sich für Fotografie. Deutsch war sein Lieblingsfach in der Schule. Märchen und Geschichten ließen keine Langeweile in seiner Kindheit aufkommen. In seiner Jugend kamen dann Dichter wie Heine und Tucholsky hinzu, später auch zeitgenössische Literaten. Nach einem Autounfall verbrachte Seidel längere Zeit im Krankenhaus: Hier entstand sein Wunsch, Arzt zu werden. So studierte er Medizin und nach seiner Approbation war Seidel in der Krebstherapie tätig. Aufgrund seiner liebsten Freizeitbeschäftigung als Bücherwurm kam in ihm schließlich der Wunsch auf, selbst aktiv zu werden ¿ und er begann, zu schreiben. ¿In der Urne brennt noch Licht¿ ist sein Erstlingswerk. C.F. Seidel ist verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder.
