Juniper Black was raised on stories of kin who could heal people and cousins who knew things before they happened. From an early age, she was taught how to conduct herself if she saw a ghost, was told that she was the reincarnation of a former family member, and place settings were always added at dinner if she said her imaginary friends would be joining.
