It starts with thought provoking and feel good poems and then progresses to the deeper and darker poems. Part four is about a lost youth which should shed some light on some of the other poems. Life is a full range of feelings and emotions. I hope this book expresses them all. The good, bad, and ugly.

Autorenporträt

I was born in 1982 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I was a military brat and moved around often. The different people and places gave me a good sense of culture. I believe culture is important to any writer. I have had a lot of ups and downs in my life, too many downs that were self inflicted. The better for my writings. As of now I am 32 but have lived the life of someone much older. My ups are I served briefly in the U.S. Navy. I was once engaged and in love and had a good up bringing. The downs are being in the streets, drugs, gangs, and prison. In the end over coming the ups and downs is what counts.
