Autorenporträt
Born in Calcutta (now Kolkata), India, Avi Mukherjee completed his Ph.D. in Physics from Ohio State University, in Columbus OH, and thereafter worked for IBM in New York and California and Tokyo, Japan. He received several Innovation Awards at IBM and is the author of numerous technology patents and patent publications. His five-year assignment to Japan was the highlight of his IBM career. He has published extensively in newspapers and magazines. He has dabbled in various entrepreneurship activities after his retirement from IBM, and worked for AGC, a Japanese company. He is currently a consultant based in California. He is an avid poker player as well as a bridge player and competes regularly at the international level in both bridge and poker. This is his first book, and he has chosen the short story format to share with readers a fictional version of experiences in an eventful life.
