Neil Stainthorpe ist Engländer, lebt aber seit 1986 in Österreich und arbeitete bis vor kurzem als Englischlehrer und Lehrerausbildner. Er schreibt seit 2018 und verfasste mehrere Bücher über Spiele im Unterricht, Gedichtsbände und spielerische Lernhilfen für Fortgeschrittene. Dies ist sein erstes Kinderbuch.
