This story is meant to instill a sense of curiosity in children to discover nature, especially nowadays they often spend their time playing indoor games. It encourages them to learn about forests and engage in outdoor activities. It also teaches them how to communicate with their parents and express their wishes. Further, it tells them that parents are there to care about them and make them happy as well.
