Mr. Luera is from Tracy, California. He graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix. He also served his county as a member of the U.S. Army as a 13FOX Forward Observer. He now is a disable Veteran, with no regrets in life and has been employed with Alameda County Public Works for the past 18 years. Mr. Luera is a loving husband and father to His wife Gabriela Luera and his daughters Bianca, Vivian and Lyla Luera. MR. Luera wrote Little Carlos Hops, to inspire his kids to dream big and that anything is possible if you put your mind to it! The books main character Little Carlos finds himself struggling with Life's uncertainties and the basic human need of wanting to be the best! The book is a comical view of what could happen if everything was only a click of a button away. Mr. Luera takes his Mexican culture and shares it with the rest of the world, through the eyes of little kids.
