Autorenporträt
The author Nino Farruggio was born in Tbilisi, Georgia and moved to the United States at the age of 19. She now enjoys teaching yoga and meditation to children and adults in New York City, Long Island and surrounding areas. She loves to travel and believes that art heals, which led to the creation of her books dedicated to bringing the ancient teachings of yoga to children.

"Little Shrimp Wants to do Yoga" is the first book of the series. This sweet book, "Little Shrimp Wants to Meditate" follows.

Nino is the mother of two wonderful boys aged 12 and 9. Her own "Little Shrimp" are her inspiration and continual reminder of the importance of daily yoga and meditation practice.
