Autorenporträt
Dr Tim Cross, BMedSci (Hons), MB BS, MD, FRCP Dr Cross qualified from St. Bartholomew's hospital medical college in 1996.  He undertook general gastroenterology training in North East London and hepatology training at Addenbrookes hospital, Cambridge, The Royal Free Hospital, University College Hospital and Kings College Hospital, London.  He was a consultant at the South West Liver Unit, Plymouth UK before moving to the Royal Liverpool Hospital in 2012.   Prof Daniel Palmer, BSc (Hons), MBChB, PhD, FRCP Professor Palmer graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1995 and undertook his specialist training in Medical Oncology in the Birmingham Oncology Centre before taking the position of Cancer Research UK Clinician Scientist and Senior Lecturer, University of Liverpool. He took the North West Cancer Research Chair of Medical Oncology at the University of Liverpool in 2011. His specialist interests include development of novel therapies and clinical trials for hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers.
