She is a person that has been through alot in her life and knows what it is to struggle. A single mother raising her children while fighting the injustices that come with being a single black female. She raised her children and took many others in along the way, then went back to school to pursue her dreams. She graduated in the top of her class with a Master's Degree in Social Work. She is currently a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio and works as a case manager to veterans in a permanent supportive housing environment. She is a woman that wears many hats and wears them well; a christian woman, a mother, a grandmother and a licensed social worker. She believes in helping people and meeting them where they are at. With years of experience that she gained just by surviving life in a world that told her she wouldnt be anything. Through her writings she creates real life stories with the help of God that she hopes can be a source of encouragement for others going through lifes difficulties.
