Donald Gazzaniga was given a "terminal" heart disease diagnosis in January of 1997. Today, nearly 20 years later, he's still managing his Web site, Megaheart.com, and writing new and well-tested no-salt, low-sodium recipes. Gazzaniga is the author who started the path to recovery from congestive heart failure with his low sodium lifestyle of 500 mg of sodium per day or fewer. He has been recognized the "Guru of Low Sodium" lifestyle in national magazines, on TV and in newspapers and throughout the Web.
