Lexa Stein wurde 1974 in Raon-l'Étape in Frankreich geboren und ist mehrsprachig aufgewachsen. Nach der Schule ließ sie sich zur Fremdsprachenkorrespondentin ausbilden und arbeitet heute als Exportmanagerin im Vertrieb. Schon als Kind entdeckte sie ihre Liebe zum Lesen wie zum Schreiben. Sie schrieb auf Französisch, Englisch und Deutsch Gedichte und verschlang damals wie heute unzählige Bücher. Der Traum von einem eigenen Buch begleitet sie schon lange und erfüllt sich nun endlich mit ¿Sehnsüchte des Lebens ¿ die Gegenwart¿. Lexa Stein lebt mit ihrem Mann, ihren zwei Kindern und einem Hund auf dem Land in Nordrhein-Westfalen und geht gern golfen.
