Sir Richard Temple, 1st Baronet (1826-1902) was a British colonial administrator in East India. He was lieutenant-governor of the Bengal Presidency and governor of the Bombay Presidency. He held office during the 1874 and 1877 famines. A Conservative Member of Parliament, he also wrote Men and Events of My Time in India.
