Christopher Sean, a middle aged single man known for visiting random bars just to meet new and interesting people visits a bar in the south suburbs that is known for great drinks and karaoke. What he did not expect was to meet the love of his life, who he refers to as BABY. Christopher is amazed by all the talented singers in this karaoke bar, but there is one singer who stands out amongst the rest. Stricken instantly by cupid's arrow, he pushes through his shy nature to pursue her and get her to recognize him as a worthy suitor in the bar full of superstar singers. He knew he would have to make a few appearances to this place and muster up the courage to sing to get her attention, so he did just that. After getting her attention by singing the one song he thinks he can sing without sounding terrible, Donell Jones-Where I Wanna Be, he makes his move to strike up a conversation about music and she was surprisingly inviting. The couple would eventually start dating and realizing that the karaoke community is filled with messy, jealous, and spiteful people who they once regarded as friends.Their relationship quickly moved from casual to exclusive in a matter of months and that's where the real challenges began. Christopher documents their journey to maintain his relationship amidst the community drama and personal issues with family and friends.

Christopher Ratcliff is a teacher with 17 years of experience working with students and teachers in a variety of settings. He has spent the last 6 years teaching in inclusive classrooms. During this time, he has co-taught with several different teachers.

Christopher earned his Master`s in Multi-Categorical Special Education in 2016. His master's research highlighted the barriers co-teachers faced in inclusive classrooms.

An Illinois native, Christopher earned his B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Biology at Governors State University and M.A. in Multi-Categorical Special Education from Governors State University. His professional licensures include secondary Biology, secondary Psychology, and K-12 Special Education.

Christopher has a deep devotion to working with struggling learners and students with diverse learning abilities.

Christopher makes his home in Steger, Illinois. When he is not working with students and teachers, he enjoys writing, traveling, dancing, singing karaoke, and relaxing in nature.
