Helen is trying to step out of her comfort zone and try new things. The past two decades have been a struggle, between a divorce, cancer, surgeries and therapy, on top of raising two children to adults. Her mental state is getting better, stronger, with each session, but trying the idea of love again is scary. Dangerous. Helen is determined though, and willing, to give it a shot. This is her life and will take it back.

Quenten feels old and stuck in a rut. Running the bar of his dreams is all he's got going for him. He hasn't found the time, or made the time to look for the woman of his dreams. When an opportunity brings her to him, he takes her by the hand and dances the night away, hoping he can hold on.

This is a short story / novelette, second chance romance, late in life love story.

I am a stay at home mom of two legged and four legged kids. I love reading, crafting and teaching; and trying to type out stories stuck in my head. I took the leap to self publish at the end of 2020.

Between lessons for the kids, crocheting, reading and just life, I try to force myself to find time to type. The stories are in my head, I just wish I had Dumbledor's wand to pull them out and easily put them to paper :)
