Astrid F. Schneider wurde 1968 in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein, geboren. Nach dem Abitur studierte sie in Paris Französisch und Modedesign. 1993 wanderte sie in die USA aus, machte sich mit ihrem Mann selbstständig und gründete eine Familie. Sie entwarf Kollektionen und schrieb ¿blumige¿ Katalogtexte, wie damals in den USA so üblich. Im Jahr 2009 zog die Familie nach Deutschland zurück, um mit einem größeren Unternehmen zu fusionieren, was zu einem Bruch führte, Trauma, Tränen und Frust verursachte. Halt fand sie in der Ausbildung zur Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie. In ihrer Praxis half sie vielen Menschen wieder ins Gleichgewicht zu kommen. Heute lebt und schreibt die digitale Nomadin in Norddeutschland, auf Alonissos und in Soller.
