Shameka Shawnte Bush was born April 14, 1984 in Jacksonville, FL. This charismatic author at the age eleven discovered she has a passion for Poetry. She quickly became a visionary and developed the skills necessary to create her own poetic views of the world around her. Writing poetry then became more than just a way of self-expression, but a lifestyle. This Georgia raised woman thought one of her purposes in life was to make people aware of the poetic moments in life. She believes that whether beautiful, hideous, up, down, or gold, it is all poetic and that's worth recognizing.
