Siobhan Parkinson is a professional author and editor. She is one of Ireland's most successful children's writers in both the Irish and English languages and many of her titles have received awards. Her first novel in Irish Dialann Sar-Runda Amy Ni Chonchuir was shortlisted for the Irish-language Book of the Year Award.
