A Blank Slate. An Infant Reality.
Jack, a misanthropic mage hunter, finally loses his fight with a bottle in the one way he never saw coming. Sucked into a sandbox world inside a jar, his pursuit of a rogue wizard brings him to twelve artists spirited away, now gods of the barren wasteland.
An agoraphobic cartoonist. A bankrupt romance author. A prodigal painter. A disturbed ballerina. Some came by choice, others seek escape, but when life is created, a world war begins and the Universe asks them, "What makes humanity?"

Autorenporträt
Charley Daveler is an American author and playwright processing her hypervigilance in social situations by means of satire and imagination. Growing up in Wyoming, just south of Yellowstone, she has moved from Los Angeles, Perth, New York, and home again with only a computer, her cats, and ten tons of fabric. She writes about humorous characters in dark situations, her short stories, plays, and film scripts featuring insights into the problems of mental illness, pessimism, optimism, and being overly qualified. Making the Horizon is her debut fantasy novel.
