Magistrate Marcus, a serious ruler burdened by life, dreams of overthrowing Methuselan rule on Aazronia. The Aazronians Wizards, Coercers, Illusionists, Summoners and Elementals dwell in floating towers in a hostile world. Legend says the Medallion of Justice can lead the Aazronians to independence.

After an argument with his adopted brother, Aeron, who always jokes and taunts Marcus, Marcus defiantly activates the case purported to hold the medallion. They are transported back in time to Methuselah. Marcus wakes to discover the Medallion of Justice has fused to his chest; its magic depleted.

The power-hungry Regent of Methuselah, who sees himself as the savior of souls, learns of the arrival of Marcus and Aeron; a prophecy foretold through the machinations of a dark god.

Marcus and Aeron are pursued by the Regent. They are helped by a Rager, who tries to take them back to her village. Aeron refuses to go, but Marcus thinks the Rager can help and accompanies her. Ignorant to Rager ways, Marcus claims the Rager as his wife. He meets the village Shaman, who tells Marcus about the prophecy, and that he must pass the test of the medallion or die.

Adrian Juhl is a writer of fantasy fiction based in Coomera, Australia. He is currently working on a series of free, short stories in the lead up to the release of his novels.

Adrian started writing in 2013. He keeps the reader's attention with continual action, and ever-evolving plot twists that can be discussed and debated within the family.
