In 2020 and 2021 I was Poet in Resident for the IPDA (International Professional Development Association) conference. Both years saw me react with poems on the themes and issues raised during the event.
In 2021 the conference had the theme, "Marginalised Voices in Contemporary Times". A theme I already have strong feelings and a bit of an obsession about.
This eBook contains the three poems I created for IPDA 2021 and includes other poems I have written which fit into the theme.
When we ignore the marginalised, we all suffer.

Autorenporträt
The convention here is for Dave Pitt to say how he's a performance poet, playwright, a third of the Poets, Prattlers and Pandemonialists, a fifth of Stories From the Smoke Room, Arena Theatre Associate Artist and Shouty MC and then go on about winning awards and stuff. But conventions are just there to make you feel comfortable and sometimes, it's nice to get out your comfort zone, ay it?
