Autorenporträt
K. P. S. (Renske) Janssen is a classicist and ancient historian, with a particular interest in the ways in which people in Classical Antiquity perceived, and engaged with, systems of law, morality and power. She studied at Leiden University, and obtained her doctorate at the same institution in September 2020. In early 2022, she was awarded a Dutch Research Council (NWO) Rubicon Postdoctoral Fellowship for her project on legal thinking in the works of Cornelius Tacitus (University of Edinburgh Centre for Legal History / Leiden University Centre for the Arts in Society).
