LPG demand in the GCC in 2016 is almost exclusively used as cooking fuel. The terms of residential demand and commercial demand refer to cooking fuel demand for households and small businesses (i.e., restaurants and hotels), respectively, while industrial demand refers to non-cooking business demand. There are no large-volume industrial users currently in the GCC and overall industrial usage is considered insignificant. There is an insignificant use in the workshops or industry for cutting or brazing purposes. In this report, the domestic LPG market is discussed in detailed for the GCC countries, namely Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. Interviews have been conducted with a number of industry players including refineries, LPG bottling plants, distributors and some regulating authorities. Further secondary research has been performed to complement the findings of the primary research. Domestic LPG demand, supply, supply mode, and pricing analysis are covered for Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain.
