Margo Maya Small is a lover of dance and is a licensed clinical social worker living in Toronto, Canada. She has 30 years of experience providing psychotherapy and counselling to children, youth adults and families and has integrated movement into her practice. She has also taught an organic form of dance called Danskinetics in various settings over a 20 year period to groups of people across the ages. Her passion for movement inspired her to create an original dance narrative for teens which was performed under her direction as part of the opening ceremony at two international medical conferences. Through her own journey with dance, Margo Maya has come to know it as a powerful portal to connecting with ourselves and others. She has found creative movement to bring forth a sense of one's own power, resources, creativity, and to expand one's capacity to experience love, trust and joy within ourselves, our relationships and with the world at large. This is Margo Maya's first fable for the curious and free-spirited child in all of us, regardless of age.
