How will he ever break free of the darkness? Will he get a chance to be anything more than Marty's kid?

In the vein of The Outsiders, this fast-paced young adult story gives us a look at crime, tough relationships, and faith from the perspective of one courageous youngster.

Hannah K grew up traveling all over the world and began writing seriously as a teen living in southern China. Now halfway grown-up, she is passionate about helping kids everywhere feel safe and loved. She has worked with children and teens in schools, non-profits, foster care, and therapeutic camps. She recently graduated with a degree in child development and international service from Texas Christian University. Her poetry and prose have appeared in Writer's Digest, The Curator, Nettlesome, and the TCU Journal of the Arts. When not writing or reading, she can be found drinking tea, swimming laps, or singing in French.
