Isolation is hard. Dale Abbot is about to find out it can get even harder. Alone aboard his deep-space vessel, Dale Abbot must let go of everything that remains of his burned-out haze of a life to help a newly-emerged AI consciousness. David Edward Wagner, a masterful storyteller with an MA in philosophy and a sardonic wit, brings you MARVELOUS THINGS, a profoundly heartfelt science fiction novel, full of dramatic tension and sly humor.

Autorenporträt
My name is David Edward Wagner. I write books, screenplays, and music. I was born in Ohio but the East Bay, CA is my long term residence and stomping grounds. For the past while I have been flitting between the Bay Area, CA and Istanbul, Turkey, now with my wife and son.

I write about the things that astound me. The places where psychology meets philosophy, where science meets spirituality and biology confronts technology. I dig science and history. Philosophy. Comic books. Oceans. Deserts. I love rock and roll in all its various disguises.

I have an MA in philosophy and I would love to talk to you about Foucault and phenomenology anytime.
