First story: So I'm a Pool Boy

Jason is working summers as a lifeguard, building up a little cash to help with college expenses. Instead of the usual gig working at public pools, his employer has sent him to work a private contract. The job is easy, almost too easy, as Ms. Handley is an accomplished swimmer in her own right, but he's not about to complain. Instead of dealing with drunken parties and kids screaming, he only has to watch a bikini clad woman get in her daily laps. The only problem is that he has to watch a bikini clad woman parade around every day.

Ms. Handley, though, is no ordinary woman. She's a high level executive who knows what she wants in life, and what she wants this summer is a young man to warm her bed. A young man who is only interested in sex, not in being with her just for the money, and she's got her eyes set on one particular pool boy.

Second story: Hurricane Party

Scott is a retired Coast Guard swimmer who is struggling with the desire to head to base and suit up for rescue missions as a hurricane makes its way towards the area. Erin and Krystal work for a local news station and are tasked with helping cover the arrival of the storm. It's all routine for Krystal until, as Scott knows all too well, nothing is ever routine during a hurricane.

For Scott it's one more time to put his skills to use and for the girls, a chance to enjoy staying in for a hurricane instead of being soaked out in the storm.

Autorenporträt

JC Winchester grew up reading just about anything he could get his hands on, from cereal boxes to the Hardy Boys. He loves most forms of fiction, particularly fantasy and military sci-fi, with some of his favorite authors including John Ringo, Robert Jordan, and Tom Clancy.

After several years in the Navy he enrolled in a community college and eventually to a university in the mountains. There he settled down, savoring a life not filled with the noises of the city but instead the sounds of bellowing cattle.

When not writing he can usually be found taking care of the horses on his place, riding, hiking, fishing, or the never ending task of splitting firewood.
