Autorenporträt
For years I have been rhyming words. My mother encouraged me in my early teens to write poetry for the Lord. Through the years, I have written and lost many poems in the course of everyday life. Days were busy, with a growing household, my husband, myself, three sons, and one daughter. Over the years, the Lord has blessed us with ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren I shared some of my poems with my former pastor and my friends Walter and Charlene Hoard.

Walter suggested I search out my poetry, so I went all over the house on a mission. I found scrapes of paper, napkins, and notebooks with poetry written in them. I started to compile them and send them to Walter to read. We decided that he would make tracts out of them by adding Scriptures that fit the poems. I ask God to use me, at the age of seventy-two, to touch the lives of others with comfort and fill them with the great love that God has given me. God wakes me up early in the morning, from midnight until 5 a.m., to write for Him. I know it's from Him because I am blessed when I read it. My desire is to serve God in whatever time He allows me.
