I wrote the Meek Strength journal because I noticed how hard I had worked for more than 20 years and I wasn't even on the right planet for achieving my dream. Some important parts were missing. Eventually, I became unsettled in my original goal but maintained a persistent interest in starting a company. It became so difficult to start my business despite my passion and efforts that I altered my focus to demonstrating that my good ideas manifest by design of the One True Mind. I found that if we balance our material desires with our spiritual purpose, we achieve the advantages and benefits of both.

Autorenporträt

I have been devoted to public service since graduating high school in 1989. Following a 3-year tour in the US Army right out of high school, I pursued internships in Federal and state agencies, while in college. I married my fiancé, Veronica, while pursuing my undergraduate degree at Virginia State University, and after graduating in 1997, I took my first professional job at The American Legion, Department of Virginia. My wife and I later pursued professional careers in Washington, DC in 2000, and we welcomed our first son, Ethan, in July of that year. By 2005, I was managing human capital programs in one of the largest Federal agencies, when we greeted, Evan, the final addition to our two-child household. After completing a master's degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and finishing three years of part-time study in business school, I embarked on a journey to determine why a fortunate achiever like me was, personally, miserable. The product of my journey of self-discovery is the journal that you are now reading.
