Nicole's passions for helping children and for neuroscience led her to study child & family development and psychology at San Diego State University. She hopes this book will be a tool caregivers, teachers, and mental health professionals can use to increase the social-emotional development of the children they work with and to teach the positive power of a growth mindset. Nicole lives in San Diego, California, where she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and, of course, Bailey.
